About FM&E

FM&E is located in Dronten on what was formerly the seabed of the Zuiderzee (an inland sea). Ingenious reclamation plans by the Dutch hydraulic engineer professor Cornelis Lely were realised by hard working people and very expert and persevering farmers who - in the 1950's and 1960's - turned this barren soil into rich farmland. They were the pioneers of what is now the Province of Flevoland.
FM&E seems to have inherited its characteristics. In 1997 FM&E developed out of Flestic, a company that started manufacturing plastic packagings and caps for a very wide market in 1979 on the Pioniersweg (Pioneer Road) of all places. Flestic has captured a niche on the market thanks to its expertise and tenacity.

Because of production experiences, innovative wishes and qualitative requirements, the realisation grew at Flestic that standard machines -however good they might be- do not quite meet the company's needs. The 'pioneering spirit' ensured that the company decided to develop and construct machines independently in its own R&D department, FM&E (Flestic Machinery & Engineering).

Single-station blowmoulding machines with technology for the optimum manufacture of the most diverse types of plastic packagings for products for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food and automotive industries up to a volume of 1.500 ml.

Besides these low-cost solutions for the improvement of the quality and quantity of plastic packagings, FM&E also supplies moulds, support in the field of organisation and marketing-techniques for the implementation of the blowmoulding machines.
